Good morning! I thought I would get in with the clear sky before things cloud up, which they inevitably will today. Quite a chilly morning as well.

Wednesday of the Fifth Week of Eastertide (Eastertide Feria)
Good morning. As with DAVID, it’s a lovely bright start to the day. Sun is streaming in through the bedroom window.
Feels chilly and we have a gusty wind from the west. Forecast suggests cloud will build with more rain forecast for this afternoon. There were rumours yesterday of a few houses being flooded in the village after the storms. I have lived in the village over 40 years and never heard of that before.
Have a good day all.

Wow yesterday's thunderstorms were humungous and scary at times. Flash floods all over Wrexham and gutters overflowing with moss being washed off rooftops. Today is ominous again although it seems as if SHOSHANA'S region will get the brunt of it this afternoon. All calm at the moment but the sky is cloudy and dark in the distance so can't see us being dry for long. Bowled yesterday up in the hills at Nercwys and it was gorgeous. Had to shed several layers as the sun beamed down. Lovely people up there too.

Morning all,
London's rain barrier broke early evening last night with some heavy rain around locally from 6.30pm. As for this morning, some grey skies have cleared to blue in the last 20mins. Forecast is similar to yesterday in that the morning should remain dry but this afternoon could see some heavy thundery downpours. Highs at around 17c locally.

Morning all. Nice mild start to the day.Quite a bit of cloud around but there are glimpses of the sun in all its glory. I see there might be a possibility of thunderstorms for me today-hope nothing like what PETE describes! The air is very still,no wind whatsoever. Delighted to see flowers on my strawberries-can’t wait for the strawberries, and neither can the blackbirds I suspect!

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
